About 3 years ago I had a cyclone upgrade and new colourbond roof put on the house. They were roofers from Darwin a father and his two sons. They were so good at their job and friendly. I never had much confidence in trade contractors, as we see and hear of so much inferior work all too often. Due to power prices hikeing up lately, I finally relented on my opposition to installing solar power. Mainly I didn't want holes drilled into my new roof. A friend steered me in the direction of Barra Electrical. Talking to James (owner), I was stunned at how easy it would be for the installation. NO sales pitch, just straight talking about the job from start to finish in language I could understand. Job commenced, met the young polite and friendly crew I spoke to intermittently during the installation, and friendliness was as if I had known them all along. Job completed ahead of time, and NO holes in my roof!. All existing screws utilized. Looks great, the system is performing above expectation, and I have real time information on the power usage and output from the App on my phone. As a do it yourself person, I can rarely recommend anyone but in case I am now a real advocate for Barra Electrical. Thank you, great job and service.

My experience with Barra Electrical… Brilliant! By far the easiest solar install we have ever done and what impressed me the most is they listened to our needs and didn't just try and sell us the biggest system they could jam onto our roof. Highly recommend!
