I'm really happy with my new 13.2kw solar system and beautiful black panels. Big thanks to Jadon for guiding me on the best setup and explaining everything clearly, and to Simon and the team for a smooth install. We've had our Israel SolarEdge Optimiser (as opposed to a string system) solar system installed for about 2 months now and absolutely love it. The installation went very smoothly, no drama, all within one day. Excellent after-sales support. Simon came back to fix an issue at an instant when I contacted them and took the time to respond to my non-electrician stupid and pedantic questions after the install on a few other occasions patiently. Highly recommend them. Update: 3+yrs down the track after the instal, we are still very happy with the Gold Coast Solar Power Solutions after-sale customer care and have no problems with the installer. However, we can't say the same for SolarEdge (the inverter manufacturer). The SolarEdge SE10000HD failed twice in 3 years. The first failure happened 2yrs and 2mths after the instal and then the replacement failed again in 12mths. SolarEdge will not even extend the 12 year warranty even though the product failed so shortly after the install, and happening twice within 3 years. They said they will happily keep replacing. Of course, we are not expecting the product to last more than 12yrs now after having it replaced twice in 3yrs, the last one only lasting 12mths. So if you're after an inverter with longevity over its warranty timeframe, this will not cut it. After the first failure, GC Power Solutions advised that SolarEdge was offering a free upgrade of the inverter to a Hybrid inverter but only if we purchased the battery which cost about $12-13k including installation. When the product failed again the second time, again they said the same thing. They will only offer a free upgrade if we purchase the battery (which I presume will be at least $12k or more by now). That appears to me like a sales tactic to get rid of a known product issue (which SolarEdge denies) and at the same time profit from it by making another sale for their battery. If you have the same issue with SolarEdge, please lodge a complaint with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (www.accc.gov.au) to investigate into potentially an unfair, unconscionable, misleading practices for selling an unfit product. Check how often the inverters are being replaced before you make a decision - something we've learnt by experience, albeit too late, so hopefully this review will help someone.

I had an inverter and battery system installed in 2022. The cost was $12,000. As other reviewers have noted, the quoting and installation experience was efficient and professional. Now for the bad news... ...nine months post-installation, first the battery stopped working and then the inverter also ceased to function. Following my reports of the faults, the company sent me an automated email stating that it is a manufacturer warranty issue and they would endeavour to fix it, provided that they could source the spare parts. I twice requested an indication of the timeframe for the repair. On both occasions, the company responded with an automated, legalistic email stating that it is the manufacturer's fault and they won't/can't do anything unless they receive the spare parts. They left me hanging and point blank refused to give me any indication whatsoever of what the issue was or what the timeframe would be for the fix. Update: Fifteen hours after publication of this review, I am advised that a spare part has now been located and the inverter will be repaired under warranty. P.S: The brand name of the faulty battery and inverter is SunGrow.

The young man that came was very courteous, punctual and went above and beyond fixing our solar box and got on the roof and inspected panels also before leaving . The price was cheaper than I expected for the service . I would recommend this company to anyone . Job well done Gold Coast solar power solutions.

Such great service! Would recommend! Arranged a quote/visit the next day after I called. Quote personal came on time, had a look at the house, and gave a very professional and detailed quote. They let us know all the different prices and available options. Installer also came on time and efficiently finished his work. Everything went smoothly. Thank you to the amazing team!
