Sunflow Solar

Amazing job right from the initial first meeting with Vinnie and Manuel including the team that came to install it. All the guys are amazing and a special thanks to Warwick for all his hard work with the electrical side of things and his attention to detail.

Had great service from my first phone call and Spiro was able to come up with a good solution for our tricky, small roof space. Installation was scheduled quicker than expected, and the price was really good compared to other quotes. Panel installers and electrician on the day were really good, making sure I understand what their plans were and how everything worked. Have put off installing panels for years because it seemed really difficult, but these guy made it really simple.

Although Sunflow Solar were recommended to me by a trusted friend, I chose, as is my habit, to get three quotes for a 9.2Kw solar system. Sunflow were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive but they offered “more bang for my buck”. In order to align all three quotes so that I could compare I had to contact the other companies and enquire about some of the things that Sunflow automatically included in their quote. This increased the other company’s prices. Vinnie suggested that the installation of roof ventilators (Whirlybirds) would be a good idea for my 95 year old weatherboard house, something many of my forward thinking neighbours had already done. Sunflow also ethically disposed of my previous 12 year old system that was too small for my needs. Installation was a very efficient process. After the old system was removed 22 panels had to be installed. 6 panels were installed on my tiled pitched roof and 16 were installed onto the skillion cliplock roof at the rear of my house. Phoenix and the roofing team were amazing: great interpersonal skills, respectful of me as well as their workmates and importantly they appeared to be enjoying their tasks. Jeffery, my house pet agrees! Warrick, the electrician, quietly worked away on the other side of the house, decommissioning the old Sunnyboy inverter and installing the new inverter. He very neatly wrangled all of the connections into the newly installed inverter and the house’s main electrical switch board. Once the new system was commissioned Warrick walked me through the shut down/start up process and explained the app that is used to monitor output. The end of job clean up was excellent – aside from paper, all the rubbish was taken away with them and not placed in my bins. Contact with the Admin team has also been prompt, friendly and efficient. All of my questions have been answered and my “problems” solved. I unequivocally recommend Sunflow Solar for your solar installation. Wow & Wow, all I can say is truely excellent. Honestly they have been the best tradies ever on my premises, their attention to detail and workmanship was over and beyond. Would highly recommend their team 100%. My neighbours are also looking at getting solar and I will be recommend Sunflow Solar for sure. The entire process from quote, to installation, and getting our solar system up was so easy. Spiro took the time to explain the details of how it works and the pricing and kept us well informed of the next steps. On the day of the solar panel install, the guys were very efficient. System has been in for a year now, working well & App is easy to use, wasn’t the cheapest quote, on day of install 6 workers turned up all knowing there job & same finished 4 hours later, girls in office always helpful. A good company to deal with.
