How is the Indigo shire community using solar power to met their renewable energy target?
Synopsis
Working in the scenic north east Victoria area is a great pleasure, especially for solar power as the region has a good climate for it. Yackandandah and Beechworth are nice alpine cool areas with ample sunshine, just a half an hour's drive out of Albury-Wodonga. At Solar Integrity, we focus on community projects, which is different from standard day-to-day installations. Our group of installations includes mini-grids, battery setups, commercial jobs, public halls, and other such projects.
The Yackandandah Beechworth communities have been our primary focus for the last 12 to 18 months. We work in partnership with local community groups to incorporate solar in the area and achieve a target of 100% renewable. At Solar Integrity, we take pride in partnering with communities and customers to achieve our goals.

So I love working in the north east Victoria area. It's a great scenery, it's a great area for solar, and we've got a really good climate in that area for it. So yeah, I love the, you know, the half an hour trips just out of Albury-Wodonga, to Yack and to Beechworth. For those areas, they're nice alpine cool areas, great sunshine. Yeah so we've been lucky to be involved with a lot of community projects, so it's a lot different than just your standard day by day installs. We sort of focus on a community area and do a group of installations, including mini grids or yeah, a lot of battery setups, commercial jobs, public halls, and all those sorts of projects.
So Solar Integrity focuses a lot in the Yackandandah Beechworth communities. And the last 12 months to 18 months working with the local community groups to sort of incorporate a lot of solar in the area to try and reach a target of a hundred percent renewable. So yeah, we're really proud to be partnering with the community with that, focusing on customers and the community.
