Is there a difference between cheaper and more expensive solar power systems?
Synopsis
When considering solar as an investment, customers should not only focus on the cost, but also the quality of the system. Investing in a high-quality solar system will result in better reliability and lower running costs in the long term. It is important to note that the quality of the solar panels is a significant factor in determining the lifespan of the system.
As a solar company, our approach is to only use products that we would install on our own homes. This ensures that our customers receive high-quality systems that are reliable and provide good value for money. Education is also crucial in the process of purchasing any solar system, and we strive to provide our customers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.

I think customers really should recognise the difference, when they're thinking about purchasing solar and looking at the different types of solar systems, they really should think about the quality. The the cost is understandably important, but the quality of these systems that they can use is probably going to have the most significant effect to the total running costs, and reliability of a system into the future. So customers really should think about the differences between cheap solar panels or cheap solar systems, and good quality solar systems. How is also the solar panels? There's a significant difference between good quality solar systems and particularly solar panels. The biggest differences is typically the term of which those systems will operate. So the long-term reliability out of a better product, is going to offer a far better return investment over time.
I think customers need to or want to feel like they have a value when they're purchasing any solar system, but in the process, education is probably the most important thing. So I think what makes us different as a typical solar company is the fact that we choose very, very selectively. Our methodology really is to, to use only products that we will put on our own home, and those products then being good enough for us will be products that we are happy to show customers.
