Should you just pick the cheapest quote if you're buying a solar power system?

Synopsis

It's not always best to choose the cheapest quote when it comes to solar systems. The return on investment is poor if you have to replace the system after just a few years. Quality systems with long warranties and guarantees from reputable companies are the better option. This ensures that you won't have any problems for the next 10 years.

Homeowners need to think about the long-term costs of purchasing a cheap solar system. You may end up paying twice for a system that won't last. The manufacturer may not even be around to replace faulty parts, leaving you with a useless system.
