My name's Susan Stuklis. At the moment we're in Unley, in Adelaide South Australia, and it's a pretty good place for sun. Actually we have a lot of sun here, and it's a awesome place to install solar. The type of research I did was, well I looked online obviously first, and I realized that I didn't really know anything much about solar. So I decided to start listening to some people who know a lot more about solar than I did, and I realized that it was much more complex than I initially thought. So I thought that I'd try and get as much information as possible. And then I ended up having, I interviewed five people to have our solar system installed. And I think by then I felt like I had a fairly good understanding of what I was getting and what I would expect from the future.

The main things I would be concerned about with getting solar, is that you want a quality system that's going to last in time and it's going to give you the return on investment. You want a quality company to install the solar, because without that you are going to be in trouble if you need help down the track. You want to make sure that the solar system that you install is actually right for your property, and that's going to be right for the amount of power that you're using, and your expectations of your returns for the future. And we have such a huge amount of sun here in Adelaide and in Australia, we would be crazy actually not to do it. I think it's a really excellent environmental think to do. Long-term investment and good for your family, good for the state, good for your energy bills.
