What were the methods a solar company used to sell Jan a solar power system?

Synopsis

Unfortunately, the speaker had a bad experience with a solar panel salesman who was pushy and didn't give them enough time to think it over. They were told they were getting European panels and an inverter, but on the day of installation, they found out that the panels were actually from China. This was a big problem, as the panels weren't cheap and they had problems with micro-cracks, crazing, and blisters over time. The company refused any warranty claims and the speaker was left with an expensive, low-quality system that didn't work as promised.

Dealing with interstate companies can be difficult, especially when it comes to solar panels. It's important to do your research and ask questions, so you can make an informed decision and avoid getting ripped off. Don't let pushy salespeople pressure you into making a purchase you're not comfortable with, and always read the fine print before signing anything. With the right information and a little bit of caution, you can invest in a solar panel system that will save you money and help the environment.

I unfortunately got involved with a fly-by-night salesman who was a little bit pushy and didn't give me enough time to think it out. I had problems with the panels, I had problems with dealing with them being based in another state. It was difficult. The whole situation just dissolved into a mess. I was drawn to it because they were very specific about it being European panels and European inverter, not the Chinese one. However, on the date of installation, the inverter was from Austria, but the panels were from China. And when I asked I said, Oh! I thought they were supposed to be European. He said, Oh, no. They're just re-badged. and put me off. Big mistake.

First of all, they weren't cheap, they were quite expensive. But I thought I was buying quality, but I wasn't. I didn't get what I thought I was going to get. And dealing with an interstate company was the pits. I had issues with the cheap panels because over time, they stopped producing, like they should have. When we had them inspected visually, they had micro-cracks, they had crazing, they had blisters, and still the company refused any warranty claims saying, Oh, they work okay. without being there.
